Friends of the Library


	The Friends of the Morton Mandan Public Library is an incorporated association of persons interested in supporting the library. The Friends have already helped the library in various ways, such as working at fundraiser book sales and sponsoring special events for the library. The Friends have defined their mission thus: Our mission is to strengthen, promote, and support the Morton Mandan Public Library, and to enhance the efforts of the library staff. The Friends group has a Board of Directors that meets monthly. The Board is elected annually by the general membership at the annual meeting in January. Current membership stands at 30 members and is growing strong. Membership is open to anyone. Annual dues are set at $5 for adults and $3 for children. Lifetime memberships are available for $75. The purpose of the Friends group is to strengthen, promote,
and support the usefulness of the Library to the community.
This group coordinates events, fundraisers, and continued
public support of the library.
